There are no steps that can save the dollar. That is why there is little uncertainty. I never said nor meant to imply that there is nothing we can do to improve our situation in broader terms -- but the dollar's fate is sealed. The fate of the dollar is and cannot be any different from any other currency issued by a government that is in default -- the currency falls in value.
