The downfall of the Soviets should be credited to no one else but the Russian people. It is they who braved the mighty Soviet army in the Moscow Central Square. If the people had not risen, then nobody could do anything. You have the example of China and Tiaanmen Square. If the people had persisted, they would have won. Reagan did not cause the downfall of any political regime. Or else how do you explain the existence of a ever powerful Communist China and now communist N. Korea. Please everybody, take your blinders off and give credit to the folks to whom it is due.
