"The issue with Edwards was more about what was perceived to be excessive attention to his hair. " It was meaningless fluff. It had nothing to do with real issues. "I didn't see anything wrong with the Repubs throwing as much money as was needed to get Palin the best wardrobe possible." As I mentioned at the time, campaigns do that sort of thing. The dollar figure was higher than usual, but... It too was meaningless fluff. And it is really hypocritical for the Right to be complaining about it, though. They regularly engage in this sort of distraction.
