[ deflation ] I agree, and all commodities s/b avoided. Worst thing that could happen now is for various gov'ts to try to prop up their respective currencies via rate hikes. The battle of the bourses could really have a dire effect on global stock markets...bonds will be short term winners but good stock selection now will pan out. Just my opinion... Luck to all, NEPF
