I guess. Not my hot button. Polygamize away America. Polygamy is probably a lot more trouble than its worth. I thought you were saying Tim was agreeing with you. It appeared differently to me, but that may have just been my quick reading and the apparent connection where there seemed to be none. In an earlier post to Allen (Cogito) I said that the property rights of polygamy are more difficult, and were more suited to incorporation. People can live a lifestyle now of polygamy and suffer no ill effect legally. It just won't be recognized, but then I'm not in favor of recognizing marriage, only partnerships or civil unions between pairs of adults as a way of encouraging resource conservation and social networks. Even then, I only care that rights are conferred because certain rights are conferred upon "marrieds".
