I didn't see anything wrong with the Repubs throwing as much money as was needed to get Palin the best wardrobe possible. And I do see it as apples and oranges. Wealthy candidates probably spend more than that from their private funds. But the supposed concern was that she had done something illegal or unethical, which was bogus.

Personally, I think its outrageous that nearly $200k was spent on her clothes for a three month period. And from what insiders are saying, the snook who gave her his credit card wasn't too happy when he saw the bill. Having said that, it wasn't illegal or unethical as you point out.
