i think the fear should be stag-deflation, not inflation. And slow growth with steady prices isnt that bad a thing as we recover from panic and recession. I think some rt wing types who are rooting for obama "socialism" to fail are flailing as his stuff more or less works. I came late to the obama party but now am a true believer. The guy is both talented and pragmatic and surrounds himself with those type of folks. We really did come back from the brink of disaster. But you can't prove something that didn't happen. He will be judged on what happens going forward, with maybe a 12 month total grace period... maybe more because no one, anywhere at any time, has come into such a nightmare. Still the 'right is right', he has to reduce the deficit and the debt. If he doesn't do that he will be a failure. And we will have inflation, or stagnation as you say, not much difference.
