"They don't have to bid for anything."

No, they don't.

"They can either accept the bid the government is offering, or, let the bankruptcy court assign them equity ownership of the new company."

Which is what is happening. There are some creditors who aren't happy with the deal. They have options. Which, instead of exercising them are whining.

"Obama is using the bankruptcy to financially reward his financial backers."

You keep claiming this but haven't provided anything but paranoid speculation. If you truly believe it, file a complaint instead of whining.

"a) Of course it isn't happening (secured creditors being paid before unsecured. That's my point."

Your point is in error. The secured creditors are the only ones who get any money out of this.

"b) there are rules. BK judge can't just assign title to assets to a hot dog man standing across the streat from Chrysler parking lot. You seem to be saying that the BK judge can."

My understanding is the judge very well could do that. Think about what you are saying. Your claim is that the judge is breaking the rules. Why exactly he would be doing that is something you haven't explained.

"No they do not."

Yes they do. The unions exist. Michigan is not a right to work state, the unions can organize anyone they choose. So they are stuck with the unions for good or ill.

"I know it can be crushing to realize that someone with so much promise (in eyes of many) is turning out to be an old fashioned crook."

Only in your mind. Again, if you have proof, file complaints. Get a lawyer on the case. Do something other than whine.
