Right idea, but wrong car, too many of them (unless you can cop a new ZR1). I have a couple of last generation SS Camaros in storage, but if I was going to salt away what I think will be future collectables, I'd look first at a new Pontiac G8 GXP (if you can find one, especially with a 6 speed manual trans). It's an extremely rare, one year only full size muscle car and GM (stupid Government Motors) is killing the Pontiac brand.

The little Pontiac Solstices and the Saturn Sky will be future collectors, too, IMO, the hot rod turbo versions for sure.

There are so many really nice cars being produced today that will become extinct due to the CAFE anti-carbon greenie regulations. Looks like "get 'em while you can" is indeed the way to go..
