Oh, I have no problem with house prices dropping 60% because people just decide they don't need a McMansion anymore and/or because incomes drop. My only question was on what basis you can say a repeal of prop 13 would cause a drop in prices of 67%. I assumed you had worked out some kind of plausible, quantifiable, cause and effect and I wanted to see your reasoning - same with Live2Sail - he repeatedly claims house prices will tank on a repeal of Prop 13 but he never backs it up with factual evidence. It's not a big deal if you are both just talking off the top of your heads - it's a message board after all - no consequences for just blowing a little smoke.
