You are missing the point. We aren't debating math concepts here. We're talking about the unprecedented crony capitalism of the Bush admin that put oil company profits front and center in crafting our foreign policy. We're talking about the overwhelming advantage that oil companies have in shaping government policy during the Bush Admin making it difficult for any competing energy to compete, which shows the lie that this is a free market.

We'll only have a free market when the oil companies aren't dictating legislation and aren't holding our foreign policy hostage. Obama is already turning that around and it's really pissing them off because it will hurt their profits, which is why you hear calls of socialism and this manic anger against investment and subsidies of renewable energy.

Oil companies aren't going to watch their built in advantages get rolled back without a fight. We're see that now. But anyone that calls this a free market is just delusional.
