Obama ran as a blank projector screen in order to collect the votes of the moderate left. Many of them must at least be feeling uneasy now, even if they generally approve Democratic themes on reforming health care and having a multilateral foreign policy.

I think the Republican motto for the midterms should be: Let's stick some brakes on 'change' before we 'change' right over the cliff.
