I was watching a special on Evangelists the other night where they claimed that 15% of Canadians fall into this category. Obviously, implicit in the "evangelist" label is that one is catholic or protestant.

I couldn't help thinking that religious zealotry no matter its stripe, be it Catholic, Suni, Muslim, Jewish or Protestant would be much better served were it to jettison exclusive labels for a label that is non exclusive and embraces all religions.

No more "evangelism" please. Let's go with something that is a little more exclusive like "faith'all'ism".

All religions are based upon a "faith" component, so why not let the zealots of whatever the religion embrace one another under something called "faithallism" (vs. "evangelism"}, a label that respects all religions for what they are: a belief based upon faith!

To phrase an old song> "Come on people now, Let's get together now...."
