Well, I don't use the insurance anymore now that I pay 20% more, so perhaps they can give some profits up if Medicare will offer a competing plan for those 55 and over. If the medicare deal became law I'd simply compare the cost/benefit of both and make a decision on switching plans. Wouldn't it be something if we actually get to the point where insurers won't hold the 'sword of Damocles' over the self employed!!
