Lizzard, I envy your cash position. I will have to sell off a lot tomorrow morning in which I will probably take a beating since the Asian martkets are down again. Actually, most of my current positions are still profitable from recent purchase points, but I just gave up all that profit. Since my NEW investing strategy calls for me to sell when I move to a losing position, I will be forced to sell this morning when there may be few buyers. To make matters worse, I'm almost fully invested right now- with margin :o( If I sell in the morning, I may be selling at the lows. If I don't sell, and it gets worse, I could lose my profits for the entire year. I own great companies, and yet they are dropping. I doubt Hong Kong will stop falling any day soon and that will make the fundamental outlook for stocks look even worse. If the US market continues to fall more, that could hurt consumer spending in the US which could cause more fundamental doubts. All this speculation could be for naught, but it is amazing how disaster lurks just around the corner . . .
