I thought Roberts and Alito were fine picks as well. Wonder what your thoughts are. Liberal dems fought them and Obama voted against Roberts for political reasons although he was inclined to support. I think if we can get competent jurists regardless of ideology and as long as they are in mainstream and have integrity, we will be OK. Bush picked 2 reasonalbe conservatives (forget Miers for a minute) and now Obama picking center left. I have no problem with this.
