The NG plays both into energy independence and green thought.. also it's not a leap to use NG in cars .. Lots of taxis, gov vehicles and airport limos here use it. Point for the US is it looks like there is lots there.. Diesels and heavy trucks can also be converted.. I got a great deal on an off lease Explorer last summer..
