Hi RR! Don't ever give up on your friend until he draws his last breath. We have given up on my husband so many times and he always comes back. The last time, this year, we were all sitting around at the Hospital crying and consoling each other.

ON Feb 2, 2009, this year, the heart doctor came out and told me my husband had liver cancer and it would probably be fast, probably 3 months, and we should go home and live as normal as possible. He also told me that it would probably be better for my husband to die with a heart attack than with cancer, so there was nothing they were going to do for the heart. I thought that was very humane thinking on the doctors's part.

My husband is as good as he was 3 years ago and is now taking care of me......He is from Detroit but has been forced to cook me Southern Cooking. :-) We just had Chicken and Dmplings. I had him make 7 meatloafs the other day for the freezer. He has never boiled water before. Really cool, I expect this help to continue when I am A-OK. :-) Yeah Right!

Will continue to keep your friend in my prayers.....
