I'm going on more than an assumption and less than knowing. In the United Church of Christ, they have a very lose central structure. The individual churches are very very different. The mission statement of the church Obama went to for 20 years is all about Black Liberation Society. The Sermons were about Black Liberation Theology. Now why would Obama go to a Church for 20 years with such a mission statement and such sermons if you don't subscribe to those beliefs?
