I am very curious to see how many denominations reach out and embrace gay couple families, with or without kids. Some do already, and I would expect the numbers to grow as the demographic bulge works its way through the system. If those churches want to reflect the society around them instead of simply issuing dictates and not tolerating dissent, we should see more and more tolerance over time.

Eventually, the churches who choose to exclude will look like the last country clubs and others now who still discriminate on one basis or another, tiny islands in the larger social sea.

For all of us here over 40, I'd bet that a survey of all our kids and/or nieces and nephews would reveal fragmentary support for antigay measures at most.
