were NOT 'millions of things' in the TRILLION DOLLAR RANGE

No single thing has to be in the trillion dollar range, when many things are happening.

And in terms of actual dollars spend in the economy, or actual dollars invested, the sum total of all the changes leading to the change of opinion doesn't have to be in the trillions of dollar range. A single companies market cap can go up billions with just millions (or for a shorter time frame even less than millions) of new stock purchases. The same idea applies to the market as a whole.
