The problem is that the green shoots are not growing organically. They have been heavily manured, fertilized, composted, trimmed, are growing in expensive hydroponic pots, etc.

When it is all said and done, the green shoots will yield tomatoes that will cost $10.00 each.

The farmer is a guy with a printing press in the barn, busily making funny money to pay for all this 'farming.'

Green shoots......please. None of us fell off the tomato truck recently.
