The Bulls dominated the field for yet another week with the Nasdaq Composite Index closing Friday up 17.68% CYTD, or Contest Year To Date, (vs. up 12.90% CYTD a week ago). The Nasdaq Biotech Index finally moved into positive territory, closing Friday up 1.23% CYTD (vs. down -2.05% CYTD a week ago) and the rip-roaring performance of Contest median put it up 14.83% CYTD (vs. up 5.77% CYTD a week ago).
RKRW's portfolio roared back into the lead with GENE's portfolio not far behind in second place. GEORGIA's portfolio held on to third place but is now being challenged by PRAVN's portfolio which experienced an XTNT explosion. Friday's sensational closing CYTD percentages are: RKRW up 86.18%, GENE up 83.15%, GEORGIA up 75.62% and PRAVN up 73.85%.
At Friday's close, 22 of the 32 Contest portfolios are in the black and 21 of the 32 are beating the NBI.
