A couple of stocks with near term catalysts:

TRGL presents next week in London. This company has been a mess. However, new management is in place and my view is that their reserves in France, Turkey, and Hungary are worth more a lot more on a per share basis than its stock price. I talk to folks more knowledgeable than I am that say the Paris Basin acreage is Bakken like. This might get a pop next week. Might be worth a trade.

DPTR just got rid of Roger Parker. Always seemed like a good guy the few times I met him, buthad a habit of over promising and under delivering. If you remember, Krik Kervorkian owns 34% of the company (or there abouts). The original purchase was at $19 I believe. Anyway, I keep hearing that they might have some good news on the CRB play. Husky Energy is also involved. DPTR is trading about about 2.30. If the results (which will prob be announced at the next CC) are as I am hearing, I believe DPTR could trade to 5-6.

Finally, Have a look at XDC. XDC trades in Canada. Their coil drilling technology has worked well for WFT in Mexico. While not cheap, If their technology starts to spread, there is big upside to earnings and cashflow

Good luck out there! Be careful, I think we are in the eye of the hurricane.
