Perhaps the plane didn't break apart. The pitot tube failure could indicate air speed errors confusing the computers and pilots causing a stall based on gauges.

Diving straight into the water intact. It would explain why they couldn't find wreckage. The decompression could be explained based on turbulence.

I smell lawsuit.
