Obama's comments about Health Care instill fear not hope.

Health care is even a misnomer. Health care is what an individual does for him or herself.

Medical insurance and how we pay for doctors, hospitals and what items get paid for are the financial.

The Federal government should not be in the business of mandating and monitoring an individual citizen's health care and/or medical care.

There was an advertisement that ran ad nauseum on the Northern Virginia tv stations targeting baby boomers and senior citizens-----it was a message of fear that if you don't vote for Mr. Obama there will be no funds for medicare.

This is the same story that we have heard for several decades pushed by the Democrats.

I contend that the Medicare system should be abolished and the funds that people on Social Security are currently using to fund the Medicare Insurance be abolished.

A recipient could then have the free choice of selecting their own company and paying with the same money that Social Security now keeps for their mandated system.

If someone were to do an analysis of the number of people and offices employeed to monitor Medicare and the cost to the doctors and hospitals and other practitioners who accept medicare I believe we would be amazed if not shocked.

The duplicate record keeping is massive for the doctors, hospitals and insurance companies under the current Medicare system-------this is why medical costs are high.
