People who want to be accepted by society don't act like that. They don't want to get accepted by society on your terms. Those who do stay 'in the closet' and manifest bizarre behaviors esp. later in life. Think the senator from ID. Like many teens they want to shock and offend folks, makes them feel important. Yes, they are not particularly skilled in presenting their case. So what? You're the adult.....can't you see beyond that?
