The era of the hard-working American ended

Oh Bull!
Everywhere I go I see hard working Americans. If you spend all your time trying to find the negative, the exception to prove your pessimism and depressed images of America - you will find them. But every day Americans are going to work and getting things done - how is that possible if things are as dismal as you suggest?

We all feel entitled to everything now, to varying degrees.

Oh Bull!
Because our country has a broken out of control health care system, and all thinking Americans want to fix it - doesn't for a second mean we fell "entitled" to free health care. ......Or because the last administration just about ruined this country with their insane thinking on economic responsibility and sent our financial well being into freefall - forcing stimulus spending to prevent further freefall - doesn't for a second mean we are "entitled".

While we have a ton of problems, we are now addressing many of them and at least in my part of our country people are working hard and have returned to a generous spirit of community that has been missing for some time. I suggest you look around for the good instead of looking under every rock for ONLY the bad.
