<<So what was new at the Asia mining conference ?>>

interesting, in that i had attended i.com e/net conferences all around in 1997, 1999, 2000, 2001 post collapse, and so am familiar with mood of crowds vs valuations now vs later.

after a 90% collapse of perceived worth in many sort of mines and given a scarcity of financing of all sorts, one would have expected the conference to be similar to i.com e/net 2001, but that was not the case

the folks were bullish, cautious for the short term, very bullish for the long pull, investors, instigators, operators alike.

conclusion: something is different this time.
