If the Dems are controlling the legislation, tort reform will not be a part of it. I think you have it wrong it is not excessive litigation that is raising malpractice premiums, it is excessive malpractice. My wife is in the medical profession and we have a lot of friends in the profession. All of them agree that you are a fool if you go into a hospital today without an advocate to protect you. They all agree that there is a great deal of un reported malpractice. I don't know why but I suspect that government regs play a large role, because I have noticed over the years that nurses no longer seem to tend to patients, they seem to be filling out paper work. lj
