I think the ethics violations charges against Palin were generally stupid. She had little, if anything, to do with the decisions made on her behalf.

Of course, you fail to mention that she settled the charges in Alaska by paying for her kid's travel, (charged at State expense)and ended up agreeing that she was in the wrong for charging per diem while staying in her family home.

But those had nothing to do with the 2008 campaign, just life in Alaska.

But the piling on up there is stupid now. Opponents (including republican opponents) have piled on with charge after spurious charge. Costing everyone way too much money to handle.

Foolish.

She is still a walking disaster, as demonstrated by her recent plagurism flap and the Republican handling of her at the big dinner.

But, hey, if the republicans want to crash and burn with the most unelectable person in American...let em have at it.
