Thanks Vi,

The conundrum I am wrestling with is that I will be selling soon in a depressed market and moving to a currently strongish market (at the moment). To further complicate matters, I am in Canada and our RE market and our debt is in better shape than the US yet our US trade is VERY important, yet I can delay buying for a year..or should I rent.
I guess the bottom line is...is cash king for the year going forward in the RE market? If inflation wasn't an issue, I could rationalize holding off a purchase but if inflation comes a ripping then another variable enters the picture that leaves me scratching my head.
IF, the net result of this convoluted scenario was a mild win or lose I wouldn't be so concerned but if there's some major consequences then I would hope to not make a large miss-step here.
Anyhoo....thats my conundrum. I am retired.
