A lot of institutions have deservedly been losing respect. Some will be replaced in similar form - i.e. the MSM - but what will happen when more and more people lose faith in the legal system, the banks, and government in general? The case Snowshoe mentioned was just one example. The principles have always been the rule of law, innocent until proven guilty, etc. God knows they haven't always been followed, but we know (or can know) a lot more about those cases where they're not because of the easy availability and rapid transmission of information. Look at the Duke Lacrosse case - the definitive book about it was called "Until Proven Innocent: Political Correctness and the Shameful Injustices of the Duke Lacrosse Rape Case". And I don't like to think of where the increasingly unfettered power of the federal government is going to lead us.
