I didn't forget. It's tough to forget accounts of anal rape while he was choking the girl, and then tried to make the case that it was consensual (before he settled out of court). The amazing thing about Kobe is that you don't even need that to dislike him.

I think he's popular in China because they don't see what the big deal is about a lape. And they probably think he's Michael Jordan anyway.

I hear that his wife is really an awful person too (and I think that their former housekeeper is suing the both of them for harassment)
