This is perhaps worth monitoring:

Take a look at that slide 14 again. It shows that negative cost per oz of au production might start with the copper price somewhere between $1.75 and $2.25 per lb. Their calculations use on a C$ exchange rate of .82, so in Canadian dollars that's somewhere between C$2.13 and C$2.74 per lb. ... C$2.65 per lb would be about right. Today's Canadian price of copper is ($2.36*1.12=)$2.64.
