6/12/09 update
The broad market as well as biotechs random-walked their way to another week of gains, although limited ones. At Friday's closing bell the Nasdaq Composite Index was up 18.28% CYTD, or Contest Year To Date, (vs. up 17.68% CYTD a week ago), the Nasdaq Biotech Index was up 1.73% CYTD (vs. up 1.23% CYTD a week ago), while the Contest median was up 15.10% CYTD (vs. up 14.83% CYTD a week ago).
RKRW's portfolio kept its lead with GENE's portfolio remaining in second place and GEORGIA's portfolio holding third place. Friday's closing CYTD eye-popping percentages are: RKRW up 88.38%, GENE up 80.63%, GEORGIA up 69.76%.
At Friday's close, 21 of the 32 Contest portfolios are in the black and 20 of the 32 are beating the NBI.
