The six months after 9/11, America was back. Then the Halliburton CEO and the Boy Wonder decided to attack Iraq and turned the gold spirit into manure in a distillation column: Republicans saw liquid fertilizer out of the bottom which they thought was useful, and Democrats saw stinky hot gas enamating from the top. But it was all crap. "Fix" health care? That's just a transfer of money to different people. Insurance companies and some doctors will lose. Too much entitlement, not enough product generated to pay for even a fraction of it. I am embarassed for our country on almost every level. I do sincerely applaud your optimism, but to bash the right and hold the left up as liberators looks eerily like the Ukranian farmers worshipping the Nazi troops as they barreled through in 1941. Orwell said from pig to man and man to pig, you could no longere tell the difference. Unrestricted greed has ruined this country. I got mine. I will get more if I need it. I'll never give anything to or for the USA again.
