Wow! How many goodies like this have I missed? I just went to one of your oldies, -GT, that I haven't revisited in a long time! Are you still playing it? Another beautiful run from a buy signal about 4/1/09....and maybe prepping for a re-breakout soon?
Dabum, I've been lurking this site from the start....decided to try posting it at last....wasn't sure it would let me in.
Good to see you becoming active again...I assumed you were, like me, becoming disallusioned with results in our T/A strategies in this mucked-up down market....I've practically deserted posting on Big Dog's board, though I'm still reading it faithfully.
I'm finding more frequent buy set-ups in my watch lists, but finding far fewer successful runs, and of course, far more losers in my few attempts to exercise my strategies, so I'm virtually sitting back with a boatload of cash hoping to discover a valid turnaround in the general market...pessimism about its future still reigns in my mind with the mess created by the Dems. I'm still grateful to you for your advisories you've made available to us....especially those insisting to recognize the sell signals and thereby cutting my losses early. I thankfully acted on them with my portfolio last October, after experiencing about 20 months of 30+% annual gains rate with my trading portfolio. My few futile attempts to re-enter have resulted in a less than 10% loss thus far this year due to my inability to maintain my confidence that my system will work, and my resolution to avoid any big losses.
Looking forward to participate on these boards a lot more again, and hope to see more from you and the other informative posters that have taught me so much.
Meanwhile I intend to try to revisit some of these quietly hidden and more mundane stocks looking for another opportunity to catch some of these longer rides again.
