If he was a proven registered Dem, that is a fact. Twisting his party affiliation to try and tar all Dems is unfair, but at least the accusation would be based on the facts. What Michael tried to do was tar Dems on the word of one Freeper who surmised that Von Brunn was a Dem because he hated GWB and neocons. Not fact-based. Big difference.
