There are plenty of paranoid/schizoid/psychopathic/primitive narcissistic personality types as well as all kinds of mentally healthy folks in both parties. Von Brunn's actions are beyond political party but have been fueled very much by Right Wing commentators and bloggers. So the party thing is a red herring that distracts from the hate filled words that have filled the airways that bring out the kooks, some of whom are actually a-political.
