gregor: in spite of my better judgement I tried to buy back in today. Could not resist the 20% declines in so many pretty sound stocks. Even tried LSI at 18 and change. BUT nothing executed! I was trying at market and the orders remained pending for minutes - at which point the stocks moved several points. So nothing bought though I really wanted to. No discipline that's my problem.

IBM announced a share buyback. + Wall Street Houses clamoring "buy, buy, buy". + too many relative bargains. + very heavy volume on several stocks up several points. Still think overall market is overvalued but the buying is back as I write this. With Greenspan tomorrow maybe this will continue to turn up. I give up! Having problem getting quotes (yahoo), trading over the phone (busy signals)... I'll leave today to the experts.
