Hawkmoon: Sorry to hear about the loss of your father. You said he was in the hospital in Houston. Was it the Baylor College of Medicine. You said he had an infection. My brother in law had a hip replacement at Baylor. He contracted a staff infection in the transfer site and eventually died from it after a 5 month battle in which they eventually took the metal hip replacement out. The type he had was a 'super bug', and was unresponsive to antibiotic therapy. He died a terrible death. He ended up on life support for several weeks. Nothing attempted worked.
