Mary; that Krugman is a Keynesian Oh yes on that I agree. I'm increasingly happy with him. I was unhappy; I think they could have gotten a bigger stimulus coming out the gate. But they've become more forceful. ......... I had my skepticism, but he is smart. He's impressive. And it is such a relief to have somebody whom you can respect in the White House. Mary, for what it's worth this is the argument I have been having with Krugman's thinking - that he needed to give Obama an opportunity to implement his ideas. Krugman instead came out hard pounding Obama the first days he was in office trying to tell him what to do. Thankfully Obama did NOT listen to Krugman. I respect Krugman a tiny bit more as he almost kind of admitted here he was wrong. steve
