You are an ass and from what I have seen of you on SI in the past you have always been one. You called me a liar, lazy, questioned my mental health, and totally twisted my words over a friendly, non-offensive post that somehow managed to irk you. Despite that, I made an attempt to be civil with you.

longevity-science.org

"...very steep offspring-parent dependence (high narrow-sense heritability) for longer lived parents. These findings explain the existing longevity paradox: although the heritability estimates for lifespan are rather low, the exceptional longevity has a strong familial association."

In other words (I will say it as slowly as I can so that maybe you can understand it), there is evidence that genetics plays an important role when it comes to living to a very old age.

So not only are you an ass, but you are also wrong. Yes exercise and diet are important, but for a certain lucky group it is about genetics. Otherwise how do you explain the exceptions? How do you explain the 100+ year olds that don't fit your narrow ideas about how the world works?

All you had to do was make your point about exercise and diet being important and stop there, but you couldn't do it. You had to keep digging and digging and now, surprise, you are in your own grave (pun intended) -- dug all by yourself. Enjoy...
