I never have good luck with screw top bottles or Merlots from California. I have to go with my experience not what the experts tell me. <Most wine experts accept and acknowledge that screwtops and even boxes are the packaging of choice for most wines going forward.> I always have good luck with Pinot Noir from Oregon when it's bottled with a cork that is.
