I prefer French Burgundy. Adelsham and Argyle are two I've had in the past and liked.

edit: Burgundian Drouhin is involved in Oregon. Drouhin is a fine house in France making burgundies and chardonnay. I have not yet tried Drouhin's Oregon wine but it should be less expensive than the Adelsham.
