Second, it is not fair for you to just up and go to sleep while we here
out west have to agonize over the HS, the Nikkei or what-have-you for
another 2 or 3 hours before bedtime.

You missed the close of the Nikkei. I was awake for that<G> I should not have been, however.

Third, the Nikkei seems to be valiantly battling back point by precious
point (even as Hong Kong tumbles still more)...perhaps, just perhaps,
that is a good sign (if it lasts).

It was a good sign. That is clear.

First, there was a nice post earlier that noted that the U.S. market had
already lost twice the value of the entire Hong Kong market. So, to some
degree, this clearly is overblown.

I assume that was in dollars and not percentage.
