What's this supposed to mean? That people who have "punch clock" jobs haven't made it in life?

I remember Tom Clancy once saying that he doesn't think anyone is successful until he or she has made six figures. It was an incredibly arrogant thing to say, especially since most of the people who made the weapons of war that he writes about will never make that much.

How is your attitude any different?
