Knighty, my secret is that my "sprint" isn't really a sprint for anyone with running talent. i also haven't nailed down sub 68s yet and won't even try for about 6 months. my best last year was sub 76s.

i feel better in my 40s than i did in high school - this probably explains why i enjoy running in my 40s and i absolutely hated it in high school, college and up until my 40s when i changed to an anti-inflammatory, hormonally balanced diet.

my goal is to be stronger, faster and have more endurance at 45 than ever before. i'm already leaner than i've ever been as an adult.

since i started from the ground floor - no weight training or running (over 50m, anyway) for over 2 decades - i still have some work to do.

i'm having fun, though, so it's all just a matter of time. i'm actually very surprised that i've been able to work out for over 2 years without my damaged nerve acting up. we'll just have to see how that plays out as i add muscle mass to arms.
