This is a creepy disease. Not that fatal, but fatal. I personally don't think the underlying health conditions are 'that serious'. Anything that can kill you, is a killer, even if it doesn't always kill. For that matter ordinary flu is a killer without going any deeper. It kills 36,000 per year in North America. That is 100 per day. The unusual nature of this flu is that it kills people it should not kill, or at least age ranges that don't ordinarily die. I think they are sweeping it under the rug by saying that they had underlying health conditions. I believe it is more like it just kills some certain people and not others. End of story. I am not 100% sure that these people would die with 'any other flu'. I am not sure that fact has been demonstrated at all. If it were the case, then far more people would die who were younger and older as well, just like a normal flu. The health authorities have young age range people dying, but only one that are health compromised, so they say. Well, this on is far, and that one had diabetes, and that one 'other health problems'.
